LTO Alarm Check Online

The LTO Alarm Check Process allows you to know if there is an Alarm on your vehicle or not. If there is an LTO Alarm on your vehicle, you can settle it by providing the necessary documents or paying the pending fines.
An Alarm on your motorcycle or car is like a pending case. The LTO does not allow you to renew your vehicle registration as long as an alarm is flagged on it. The LTO Alarm also prevents the vehicle owner from selling the vehicle and requests LTO for the transfer of ownership process.
So, you must resolve the LTO Alarm first, and then you can apply for LTO registration renewal for your vehicle.
Types of LTO Alarm

When Should I Check LTO Alarm?
There are two major situations when you must check LTO Alarm on a vehicle.
#1. Vehicle Registration Renewal:
You should check LTO Alarm before applying for your vehicle registration renewal. Sometimes it happens that your car or motorcycle has an Alarm but you don’t know about it. You apply for vehicle registration renewal and the LTO rejects your renewal request because of an Alarm on your vehicle.
#2. Transfer of Ownership (Buying 2nd Hand Vehicle):
You should check LTO Alarm before buying a secondhand vehicle. It is possible that you find out a secondhand car or motorcycle at a cheap price but you are not aware about the LTO Alarm on it. You apply for transfer of ownership and the LTO denies it due to an Alarm on the vehicle.
If you check earlier and there is an active Alarm on that vehicle, you can inform the owner and request them to fix the Alarm first and then apply for the transfer of ownership to legally buy the secondhand vehicle.
